Kleus has two plans and no free tier. The Coach is £24 a month and is the full daily loop: the plan, one graded assignment a day, slip recovery, and a call when you go quiet. The Master is £48 a month and adds think-out-loud calls whenever you want. One real, fully graded assignment is free with no account, and you see your entire generated plan before any price is named.

Why there is no free tier
Because accountability only starts working after you have committed to something, and a free tier is the opposite of committing to something.
The largest study of open online courses found completion around 3% overall, with about half of registrants never starting at all. Learners who paid for a verified certificate finished at roughly 46% (Reich and Ruiperez-Valiente, 2019). Some of that is selection: people who pay were more serious to begin with. But paying is itself an act of commitment, and a product whose entire job is to hold you to a commitment cannot sensibly open by asking you for none.
What replaces the free tier is a free sample. One real assignment, graded for real, no account, no card. It is the same assignment and the same check a paying learner gets. If producing something and being scored on it does not beat reading or watching, you will know inside half an hour and you will not have paid for the privilege of finding out.
What you are actually buying
Not content. Content is free and always has been; that has never been the constraint. What is expensive is direction and follow-through: somebody deciding what you do today, checking whether it landed, and noticing when you stop.
- Direction. A chaptered plan, sized to the minutes you actually committed, rewritten from each result rather than fixed at signup.
- Verification. Every assignment ends in something you produced and every one of them is scored. This is the part almost nothing else in the category does.
- Follow-up. Nudges in your chat when you are late, and a real call if you keep ignoring them. Silence is where self-study projects die, and it is the one failure mode a passive tool cannot address.
