Kleus, answered

Kleus builds you a daily learning plan, sends one assignment a day to WhatsApp or Telegram, grades what you produce out of 100, and follows up when you go quiet. Miss a day and the plan bends instead of resetting. The fifteen questions below are the ones people actually ask before they start.
Does Kleus teach?
Not in the lecture sense. Kleus builds your plan, points you to the best sources, and hands you assignments that make you research and produce something yourself. It can answer questions, but the job is making sure you show up tomorrow and learn it for real.
How does grading work?
Each assignment ends with a short check on what you produced. Kleus scores it out of 100 and names what was solid, what was flaky, and what was lacking, about the work, never about you. Solid moves you forward. Flaky brings the topic back soon. Lacking queues a redo. No lecture, no streak lost.
What can I learn with Kleus?
Anything self-directed: Python, Spanish, machine learning, Roman history, negotiation, statistics. You name the goal; Kleus builds the plan. The one rule is that you have to be able to prove progress in text or a photo, which is why there is no music or tasting on the list.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT can write you a plan in seconds and answer any question you ask. It cannot tell you tomorrow whether you actually learned today's material, and it never comes looking for you. Kleus builds the plan, grades what you produce every day, and follows up when you stop.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing dramatic. No broken streak, no starting over. The day is logged without a lecture, and the plan reshuffles around your life so the chapter still gets done.
What happens if I go quiet?
Kleus follows up in your chat. You can set how firm that gets, from a gentle nudge to drill sergeant.
Does Kleus call you?
It can, as the last step, not the routine. Day to day, Kleus is text: the plan, the assignment, the grade, the nudge when you are late. If you ignore the texts for long enough, Kleus places a real phone call at your scheduled time. You decide how far the pressure goes.
How much does Kleus cost?
Two plans. The Coach is £24 a month and is the full daily loop, including a call when you go quiet. The Master is £48 a month and adds think-out-loud calls whenever you want, double the daily chat, and more plan rebuilds. There is no free tier, and one real assignment is free with no account.
Which messaging apps does it work with?
WhatsApp and Telegram, plus a web dashboard that mirrors every message across all of them. Email mirrors your daily assignment and your weekly verdict.
Is there a free trial?
You can do one real, fully graded assignment free with no account. A full plan needs a subscription. You see your whole generated plan before any price is named.
Will Kleus shame me for falling behind?
No. It does not moralize. Incomplete work is logged without commentary; a weak check just queues a redo. The pressure is structural, not personal.
Can I bring my own book or course?
Coming soon. Drop in a book, a paper or a podcast and Kleus turns it into a plan. It is the one thing on the site that is not live yet; everything else is working today.
Is Kleus the same as Cleus.ai or Kleo?
No. Kleus (kleus.ai) is an AI accountability coach for self-directed learning, launched in August 2026 and run by its founder, Yanis. Kleus is not related to Cleus.ai, Kleo, Klue or Klu.ai. You can verify what it does without an account: one real, graded assignment is free.
Who makes Kleus?
Kleus is built by an independent team led by founder Yanis, and operated by Strade SMIP S.R.L. in Brasov, Romania. It launched publicly in August 2026.
Who is Kleus for?
People who have started four times. You are fine with hard work if it is pointed somewhere, and you are done starting over. If you want a tutor to explain things to you, Kleus is not that. If you want to actually finish, it is.
Still deciding?
The fastest answer is not another paragraph. Do one real assignment, see the grade, and judge the product on the thing it is actually selling. If you want the mechanics first, how it works walks the four beats, and what is an AI accountability coach covers the category.
Try one real assignment. No account.
Not a demo. A real Kleus assignment, graded for real. Do it, see the grade, then decide.
