AI learning coaches on WhatsApp and Telegram: what each one actually checks

A handful of AI services now teach inside WhatsApp instead of an app. Fewer than the category's reputation suggests: of the products commonly named together here, one sends daily lessons to your chat (Skillo Academy), one is a single AI-fluency assessment on the web (AISA), and several more turn out on inspection not to do this at all. Where the three lines are
These products look nearly identical from the outside: a lesson arrives in your chat, you reply, a coach responds. Three things separate them, and all three are worth asking any vendor about before you pay.
- Fixed track or any topic. A fixed track is a course delivered by chat. It is a perfectly good product if the track is the thing you wanted. It is the wrong shape if your goal is a subject nobody has built a track for.
- Does the plan change from your results? Replying to a lesson is not the same as the next lesson being different because of what you replied. Ask whether anything you got wrong comes back.
- Is there a score, and is it about work you produced? Feedback on a reply is not a grade. A grade is a number attached to something you made, recorded, and used to schedule what happens next.

A note on completion claims
Products in this category quote completion rates freely, and the numbers move depending on where you read them. Ask the same three questions of every one: measured over what population, counting what as completion, and published with a method anybody could check. A figure that only exists in a launch post is marketing.
Kleus does not publish one, because it has not measured one honestly yet. When it has, it goes on its own page with the method attached, and this sentence gets replaced by a link.

They check that you replied. Whether the reply is scored, recorded, and used to change what comes next is the line that separates them, and it is the line worth asking every vendor about directly.
Is a chat app a good place to learn?
It is a good place to be interrupted, which is most of the battle. Nothing has to be opened, remembered or scheduled by you. The limit is that a chat thread is a poor place to read anything long, which is why the work itself belongs on a page and only the prompt belongs in the chat.
